It has new radiator, thermostat, plugs, wires, distributor cap, new head gasket, valve job, exhaust gasket, water pump, valve cover gasket, fan, battery, timing set, drive belts, pads and rotors, convertible top. All preventative maintenance has been done. I have put a lot of work in to it and it definitely shows. It has 143xxx miles on the 1.6L 4 cylinder that runs and drives excellent! In combination with the settlement money I will buy her something really nice :) Now, due to my mothers resent car accident, I have decided to sell it. I bought this awhile back as a project for (when completed) a backup vehicle.

#SUZUKI SIDEKICK TRANSMISSION UPGRADE#

This upgrade was in response to the premature failure of the Locating Bolts in the 1986, 1987, 19 Suzuki Samurai models.

NOTE: This is an upgraded Transmission Shifter kit that was first installed in the 1990 Suzuki Samurai.

It comes with all the parts you will need to completely upgrade the Transmission Shifter.

These Suzuki OEM and Aftermarket Parts allow you to convert your 10mm Shifter (old style) to the more durable 12mm shifter.

If Suzuki would have implemented a recall these are the parts they would have used. A recall was debated to retrofit the earlier model Samurais with these parts but never occurred due to the over-all cost. The Shifters in the 1986, 1987, 19 models were failing prematurely due to the small size (10mm) of the Locating Bolt.

NOTE: This is an upgraded Shifter that Suzuki first installed in the 1990 Samurais.
